After reading the news stories about Timothy Kilpatrick, the 18 year old autistic man, who went missing from his home for three days, International Headquarters for Project Lifesaver contacted the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office.
On Wednesday August 17, 2016, Tommy Carter, Project Lifesaver Chief of Staff, donated to Sheriff Mike Brown and Captain Tim Hayden a Project Lifesaver’s bracelet. It includes a year’s supply of batteries and wrist bands.
