Bedford County 911 dispatchers received a call today at 2:00 p.m. The caller advised that Charles E. Bunn, age 80, was missing from his home at 1864 Johnson School Road, Thaxton. The caller said she was a home health nurse and was at that address checking on Mr. Bunn and his wife. She said the wife last saw her husband around 9:00 this morning. Mr. Bunn suffers from dementia and Parkinson’s disease. The caller also said Mrs. Bunn has memory problems as well.
At this time Bedford County Sheriff’s Office, the Va. State Police and Bedford County Fire and Rescue units are searching the area for Bunn.
Anyone who comes in contact with Mr. Bunn should call 911.
